NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022/PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019, with 969.600 being from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they have been vaccinated. The country already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
